Snoop Lion To Appear On "One Life To Live"

Snoop Lion will appear on four episodes of the soap opera classic One Life to Live. The artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg will appear May 28 and 30, as well as June 4 and 6, on the long-running television program, which debuted in 1968.

The Long Beach, California artist also produced and is featured on the new One Life to Live theme song, “Brand New Start.” The cut also features singer IZA, an artist signed to Boss Lady Entertainment and Snoop's Berhane Sound System imprint.

In at least one One Life to Live scene, Snoop Lion shares screen time with Robert. S Woods, who portrays Bo Buchanan on the program. The Buchanan character's Vietnam experience is loosely based on Woods' actual service in the Vietnam war.

Snoop Lion's appearance on One Life to Live is the latest in his long line of television roles. He has also starred in episodes of Brothers in 2009 and The Boondocks in 2007 and 2008, as well as his own Snoop Dogg's Father Hood reality show, which ran from 2007-2009, among others.

Details About the 'Poltergeist' Rebootquel Come Out, but They Don't Quite Make Sense

The Sam Raimi-produced rebootquel of his own Evil Dead was well received when it hit theaters earlier this year, earning a healthy chunk of change and respectable reviews from die-hard fans and franchise newbies alike. So we're willing to give the Raimi-produced, Gil Kenan-directed remake of Poltergeist the benefit of the doubt, even if he had nothing to do with the original and isn't as invested in its legacy.

Having said that, some early details about the film have us a little worried, mainly because they seem to not make any sense. Hopefully that last bit means these details aren't true at all and just unfounded rumors. They actually come from two different sources, one that seems somewhat reliable, and one that seems a bit bogus. We'll start with the...
